SmartHome Exchange and Return Policy

SmartHome provides a 30-day return policy on most items. Products in good condition with original accessories and packaging are entitled to get a refund. The refund should include the invoice or receipt as proof of purchase and a copy of the Return Merchandise Authorization provided by SmartHome. You can return the product only within 30 days of the purchase. Also, you can only replace the items you bought through SmartHome.com or via phone. Your refund will be credited within seven working days of SmartHomes’ receipt of the refund, but you’ll have to pay the return shipping charges. 

SmartHomes does not accept the used products for exchange or return. Returns and exchanges are accepted only within 30-days from the purchase date if the product is defective. To process a return or exchange, you can contact the customer solution center of SmartHome. Custom-etched products and Software products aren’t eligible for refund, return, or exchange. Also, the direct ship products are not accepted for exchange, refund, or return from SmartHome. If the item is defective and requires an exchange or falls under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer for further details. 

SmartHome Warranty

Most SmartHome products come with a two-year warranty. Insteon refurbished items come with a 30-day warranty, and Insteon cameras come with a 90-day warranty. However, defective items can be exchanged within the warranty period. You can get in touch with the Customer Solution Center to start the exchange procedure. To return or exchange any product, you must have the revision and SKU number of each item you want to exchange. The Warranty does not cover the resold used items outside of the SmartHome store.
